Charles Mills was born in Harlem, New York.

His paintings are of the Jazz Greats:
Billie, Ella, Diz, Miles, Coltrane and The Duke

A founding member of the African World Artists Collective, Mills is featured in the International Review of African American Art

Mills is also a commissioned portrait painter.
